Although we seem to have slipped imperceptibly now into winter, the colours and especially the light this autumn have been spectacular. I've been drawn to making more garden pictures. The autumn for me is a time when everything comes together. It is also a chance to take stock - a time for withdrawal; for turning inward.

Cate this is extremely good. I think I might have understood it without the explanation as I'm in the same place. Ethereal and real in one photograph. Perhaps that is what you find when you really look inside. You see the stable, the fleeting and the change of seasons in a new light.
